My name is Zanna, and I am a practicing Animistic Folk Witch, Priestes and Doula living in Lancashire. Here I will share with you a blend of essays and diary entries that allow you to peer into the very real world of a modern practicing traditional style folk witch and wise woman.

The snow is falling heavily, and I am sat at the spinning wheel creating a deep blue yarn from merino wool that will create a yarn to form a working known as a 'casting square'. I also speak of another, possibly more localised working using yarn, knitting and crochet called 'the withering square'
