Diary of a Medium - Stories from the Spirit World

About Diary of a Medium - Stories from the Spirit World

Ever wondered if you’re psychic… or even a Medium? I believe Mediumship isn’t just for the “gifted.” It’s within all of us. Including YOU. Welcome to my Podcast Diary where I share the "weird", wonderful journey of discovering you’re a Medium. I’ll be sharing my own real-life stories and experiences that led me to stop second-guessing myself and fully trust in my connection. You’ll also hear soulful interviews with others who’ve uncovered their own mediumship abilities, often by accident and decided to follow the nudge to explore the possibilities that lie within them. Much Love Em x

Ep 23 Healing or Harm? When a Psychic Prediction Impacts Your Life

What happens when a psychic prediction follows you for decades? In this powerful and deeply honest conversation, Em is joined by Canadian psychic medium Shelley Murray to explore a side of mediumship that isn't spoken about nearly enough — the lasting impact of unethical readings. After losing her first husband, Andrew, in a tragic accident when she was just 29 years old with two young boys, Shelley sought comfort and connection through mediumship. During one reading, a psychic made a prediction that would remain with her for years: that she would become a widow for a second time and that her future husband would die in his 43rd year. What followed was decades of carrying a fear she never asked for. Together, Em and Shelley unpack the responsibility mediums have when working with vulnerable people, the difference between guidance and prediction, and why ethical mediumship matters more than ever. This is a conversation about grief, healing, personal responsibility, free will, and the sacred nature of mediumship. • Shelley's heartbreaking story of losing her first husband at a young age • Why grief often leads people to seek out psychic mediums • The psychic prediction that impacted Shelley's life for decades • How fear can quietly shape relationships and future decisions • Why predictive readings can be harmful and disempowering • The role of free will in shaping our lives and future timelines • The importance of discernment when receiving information from Spirit • Why ethical mediumship is about healing, not shock value • The responsibility mediums have when working with vulnerable clients • How personal development and self-awareness strengthen mediumship • The difference between being Spirit-led and fear-led • Why mediumship should leave people feeling empowered, supported, and hopeful This episode is for you if: • You've ever received a psychic prediction that left you feeling fearful or anxious • You're grieving the loss of someone you love • You're developing your own psychic or mediumship abilities • You're looking for an ethical approach to spiritual work • You want to understand the deeper responsibility that comes with mediumship • You believe mediumship is ultimately about healing and connection Shelley Murray is a psychic medium, Reiki practitioner, certified yoga and meditation teacher, wife, mother, old soul, and proud crone. Having worked with Spirit for almost 30 years, Shelley is known for her grounded, compassionate approach to mediumship. Her intention is always to leave people feeling uplifted, enlightened, and empowered through their connection with Spirit. Her work is built on integrity, authenticity, and a deep respect for the sacred relationship between Spirit, medium, and recipient. 🌐 https://emstawicki.com (https://emstawicki.com) ✨ Explore your spiritual gifts with me: https://emstawicki.com/mentoring (https://emstawicki.com/mentoring) Have a story from the Spirit World?
