Eine Mobilfunk-Nummer verrät nicht, ob der Angerufene im Nebenraum oder auf Hawaii sitzt. Eine E-Mail-Adresse sagt nichts über den Firmensitz. Das Call-Center befindet sich sonstwo. Macht solche digitalisierte Ortlosigkeit die »Heimat« wieder wichtig? »Wo meine Wiege stand« und welche regionale Folklore es dort gab? Es sind Orte, Menschen und Erinnerungen, die als Identitätsmarker herhalten. Die Bibel hält mit einer unbequemen Idee dagegen: Beheimatung gibt`s nicht rückwärtsgewandt, sondern zukunftsorientiert. »Mein Vaterland heisst Ewigkeit« dichtete jemand vor 250 Jahren. Aber was bedeutet das?
