The Dark and the Deep: Olokun, Nyx, Hekate
There's a fear most of us have never said out loud. Not the dark. Not the unknown. Not what might happen if things fall apart. Our own power. The depth of what we are when we stop managing it. The magnitude of what we become when we finally release the grip — nails dug in, every muscle engaged — that we've been holding since we learned that being too much was a problem. This episode goes deep. Deeper than comfortable, maybe. Into the places most of us have spent our whole lives carefully, diligently, exhaustingly avoiding. We meet three figures who have always lived there. Olokun — Yoruba orisha of the deep ocean. Chained at the bottom not because she was dangerous but because her power was too vast for the surface world to contain. What does it mean to carry that kind of depth inside you? What have you been chaining so that everything else could coexist with you? Nyx — Greek goddess of primordial night. So ancient, so complete, that even Zeus was afraid of her. She mothered sleep and dreams and death and doom — and also friendship, affection, and the golden things at the edge of the world. Everything. From the dark. Your darkness is not your flaw. It's your origin. Hekate — goddess of the crossroads. The torchbearer. The one who stands where the paths divide and holds the light so you can see — not to choose for you, but to illuminate what's already there. The question she's been asking since before you arrived at the crossroads: have you been waiting for me. You have. Longer than you knew. This is the third episode of Phase 3: The Dark Feminine. The fire already came through. What it left behind is older, quieter, and far more powerful than anything the destroyers uncovered. The dragon at the gate was never meant to be caged. It's time to open it. Follow Digging Deep wherever you listen. New episodes drop every other Tuesday. What the Fire Cannot Touch: The Sacred Art of Destruction
Some things have to end. And the break is never pretty. In this episode of Digging Deep we enter the energy of the Destroyers — Kali Ma, Sekhmet, and Hela. Three goddesses from three corners of the ancient world who have been delivering the same sacred truth across millennia. That destruction is not the enemy. That the fire is holy. And that what you are willing to let burn determines what you get to become. We talk about why we fear destruction — not because we love everything we're holding but because we know it. The familiar. The structures we've been standing on so long we stopped crossing them and just started living on them. The things we tried to exempt from the fire because letting them go felt like losing ourselves. We talk about the bridges we burn and the ones we've been living on for too long. And we talk about the truth that changes everything — If you don't let it go, it will destroy you instead. What the fire cannot touch — what cannot be destroyed, what has never needed protecting — is what was always real. What is real doesn't burn. It's uncovered. Unbothered. Left in the ashes exactly as it always was. The fire didn't find you. It freed you. If this episode found you come continue the conversation on Instagram at instagram.com/marquex.us Topics covered: Kali Ma, Sekhmet, Hela, sacred destruction, dark feminine energy, feminine archetypes, letting go, spiritual transformation, shadow work, identity reclamation, feminine power, burning bridges, sacred fire

Lilith: The Original Refusal
She didn't ask for permission. She didn't wait to be chosen. She didn't soften her edges so the story would be easier to tell. She just left. In this episode we enter Phase 3 — The Dark Feminine — and we begin where it all begins. With Lilith. The first woman in recorded history to refuse. Not in rage. Not in chaos. In the clear, embodied knowing of a woman who understood her own nature and would not pretend otherwise. We talk about who Lilith actually is — not the demonized version, not the cautionary tale whispered to keep women in line — but the original story. The woman created from the same earth, at the same time, as equal. And what happened to her story when the people writing history realized that a woman who refuses and survives is more dangerous than any monster. We talk about the kiddie plugs. The safety features we install on ourselves so the people around us don't have to deal with the full voltage of who we actually are. Not fake. Not dishonest. Just — managed. The full self present but filtered for other people's comfort. And we talk about the pull. The feeling that arrives before you have language for it. The knowing that something about the way you've been living doesn't fit anymore. The courage to move before you have a plan, before you know what the wilderness looks like, before anyone has done it before you. This episode is not a mythology lesson. It's an invocation. She's already in you. She has always been in you. The question was never whether you were Lilith. The question was how long you were going to keep the plugs in the wall. The Woman After the Jump: Separation as Initiation
This is where The Descent ends. And something else begins. In this final episode of Phase 2, we talk about what separation actually is — not the paperwork, not the logistics, not the moment something officially ends. The separation that happens before any of that. The one that starts in your body before your mind catches up. The one that feels like standing at the edge of a cliff looking down thinking — this might not be a good idea. And then one day you're standing at the same ledge. Same drop. Same distance. Same cliff. Different you. That's when you know the initiation happened. Not because the circumstances changed. Because you did. We talk about the old chapter — heavy, predictable, moving through a life that looked like yours but wasn't fully yours, pulled by strings you couldn't even feel. And we talk about what the new one feels like — live wire, electric, like a kid standing at the gates of Disney World with no idea which way to run first. We talk about what surfaces when you finally land in the water. The parts you tucked away. The woman who is funny and flirty and free and completely done asking for permission. The badass who hid her own light in other people's stories for far too long. And we talk about what you have to leave behind to cross. The looking outside. The need for someone else to confirm what was already true. The Descent is complete. You came in grieving. You're leaving knowing. What's coming next lives in the dark. In the ancient. In the parts of feminine energy that got buried so deep they were written out of the story entirely. They have names. Old names. And we're going to meet them. If this episode found you come continue the conversation on Instagram at instagram.com/marquex.us and DM GUIDE and I will send you my guidebook to work through some of these themes. The Slow Erasure: The End of the Good Girl
What if the version of you that kept everything together wasn't weak — but wasn't fully you either? In this episode of Digging Deep, we go into the heart of Phase 2 — the good girl. Not the caricature. The real one. The one who was built slowly, lovingly, by people who meant well, in a world that rewarded her for making herself easier to be around. We talk about how the cage gets built — not by villains but by a thousand small corrections. The bikini at the pool. The emotion reframed as drama. The defiance called too much. And how somewhere along the way she stopped needing anyone else to police her — because she learned to do it herself. We talk about the double bind she lives in — too emotional to have feelings, but strong enough to carry everyone else's. Too much when she's fully herself, but the first one called when something hard needs handling. And we talk about what it actually costs. The relationship you were being good for that turned out to be paper thin. The moment something rose up that you wouldn't push back down — and what that response told you about everything. This episode is not about villainizing the good girl. It's about grieving her. Because she wasn't a performance — she was real. She carried you. She paved the way. And she deserves to be thanked before she's released. If this episode finds you — sit with it. Let it be heavy. And think of one woman in your life who has been making herself smaller for people who never had to do the same. Send her this one. Rage, Resentment, and the Truth Beneath Them
What if your rage isn't the problem? What if it never was? In this episode of Digging Deep, we pick up where grief left us — and follow it into the heat beneath it. Because rage and grief are two sides of the same coin. And when grief has been held too long, managed too well, filed away one too many times — it stops being quiet. It gets loud. It gets honest. It takes the wheel. But here's what most of us were never told: the rage isn't what keeps you stuck. It's the guilt layered on top of it. The you're being unfair, you're too much, you should be more understanding. The quiet internal voice that talks you back down into something more palatable every single time. We're going there today — all the way in. I'll walk you through the three faces of suppressed rage — the woman who went numb, the one drowning in shame about her anger, and the one who doesn't even recognize her resentment as rage at all. I'll share something personal about what it felt like to finally stop performing for the people who benefited most from my smallness. And I'll lead you through a short audio exercise designed to help you translate what you're feeling into something clear — because rage almost always knows exactly what it's pointing to. You just have to get still enough to hear it. This episode is for the woman who has been called too much. Too different. Too changed. The one who is somewhere between the guilt and the rage and doesn't know what to do with either. Come back to this one whenever you need it. And if you know a woman who needs to hear it — send it to her. No explanation needed. Grief Is a Portal, Not a Problem
What if grief isn't something to fix, manage, or move on from — but something you're meant to move through? In this episode of Digging Deep, we go beneath the surface of how high-functioning women experience grief. Not the kind that stops you in your tracks — but the quiet kind. The grief you intellectualize. The pain you file away as a lesson learned before you ever let yourself feel it. The loss you carry while still showing up, still functioning, still smiling in the pictures. We talk about what we inherited from the strong women who came before us — and how survival strength and emotional avoidance can look exactly the same from the outside. We talk about the modern pressure to heal on a schedule, turn pain into purpose, and check grief off the to-do list. And we talk about what actually happens when you stop managing it and let it move. This episode is for the woman who hasn't cried in months and doesn't know why. The one holding it together while something inside her quietly unravels. And the one who thought she was over it — until she wasn't. Grief doesn't get handled. It handles you. But on the other side of letting it move? There's more room to breathe than you've felt in a long time. If this episode found you, come continue the conversation over on Instagram — you can find me at instagram.com/marquex.us Topics covered: emotional healing, grief and loss, burnout recovery, high-functioning women, spiritual awakening, nervous system regulation, feminine archetypes, self-abandonment, emotional intelligence, inner work

The Cost of Holding It Together
You're showing up for everyone and everything. The kids, the job, the business, the household. And from the outside? You look fine. But something is off. You're going through the motions, drifting further from yourself, and your body is starting to keep score. In this episode, I'm getting honest about what it really costs to be the one who holds it all together — the invisible labor, the quiet resentment, the burnout that doesn't look like burnout because you're still functioning. I'm sharing my own CIN3 diagnosis, what it taught me about what I had been holding in, and the words my mom spoke to me almost fifteen years ago that I didn't fully understand until my body made me listen. This is not a pity party. This is a reckoning. If you've ever paused when someone asked you to describe yourself outside of your roles — mother, wife, daughter — this episode is for you. If you've been running on the validation of "I don't know how you do it" instead of actually being known, this episode is for you. If you're ready to stop playing a supporting character in your own life and step into the lead, this episode is for you. In this episode we talk about: The invisible labor and mental load of being the one everyone depends on Secondary gain — why we stay in roles that are draining us and what we get from them What CIN3 taught me about what my body had been holding The difference between functioning and actually living How to stop performing strength and start owning your life with your whole chest

You Already Knew
Before the confirmation. Before the conversation. Before it all became undeniable — there was a quiet, steady knowing you kept talking yourself out of. In this episode we're getting honest about intuition and what it actually looks like. Not the dramatic sign or the lightning bolt moment — the body tension, the dream you googled instead of sat with, the thought that kept coming back, the small thing you explained away. We talk about why we silence it, how we were taught to distrust our own knowing, and what it costs us when we do. We go into the grief that lives in the gap between knowing and acting, the shame spiral that follows, and the shadow work that helps us stop making ourselves the villain of our own story. This isn't about learning to trust your gut from scratch. It's about unlearning the idea that your knowing was ever the problem. Because it wasn't. It never was.

When Life Stops Responding: An Overview of What's Coming This Season
This episode is the map. Before we go deep, we go wide — because what's coming this season deserves context. We start with the moment that brought most of us here: when life stops responding. When the strategies that used to work don't anymore. When you can't white-knuckle your way through it. But we don't stop there. We use that moment as a lens for everything this season is about. We walk through four stages: the crack — where you lose control and find yourself completely out of your depth. The descent — where everything that used to hold you together starts to unravel, and you let it. The dark feminine — where something in you gets loud and done, done being nice and quiet and small. And integration — where we make a promise: we are not dropping you off with great ideas. By the end of this season, we are walking the walk together. This season is for the woman in the in-between. The one who can no longer keep performing but hasn't fully arrived yet. If that's you — you're in the right place. Let's go.

The Woman in the In-Between
There's a version of you that no longer fits — and deep down, you know it. In this season opener, we're not speaking from the other side of transformation. We're speaking from the middle of it. If you're in that disorienting space where the old identity is falling away, but the new one hasn't arrived yet, this episode is for you. Season 2 of Digging Deep is more honest, more real-time, and more raw. Welcome to the in-between. Welcome to the Initiation.
