Small and midsize business haven't had the budget to spend on cybersecurity. It's a big problem as AI makes the bad guys more powerful. The good news is AI can help the defenders too. Today's conversation with Bill Haber of Tekrisq focuses on what they are doing to bring a cost-effective and practical approach to improving SMB cyber posture.

Episode 10: Matt Calligan of ArmorText
Imagine that your company has been hacked and the bad guys are on your network. If you try to use that network to coordinate your response, the bad guys will be a step ahead of you. You need a secure way for the incident response team to communicate away from the hacked network. And if you work in a regulated industry, that secure way needs to be logged and audited by the regulators, so you can't just use encrypted chat like Signal. That's where ArmorText comes in.

Episode One: Why Am I Doing This?
My name is Greg Bateman and I'm a BigTech veteran turned small business owner. Over the years I have owned a small business, I've seen that small business owners are too busy running their business to pay attention to much else. And yet, the world keeps moving on: there's a new AI tool that could help them every day. And there is a new cybersecurity threat that can hurt them every day. This is to say nothing of the earth-shaking change that is coming when quantum computing gets good enough to break current encryption.
I hope to bring interesting experts from the world of cyber security and AI to talk about what all these developments mean for small/midsize business and hopefully have some fun along the way. This first episode is very short, so give it a listen and subscribe for new episodes!
