Come With a Shopping Director to New York Fashion Week | The Scene

Come with me to New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 for runway shows, fashion trends, celebrity sightings, outfit breakdowns, and the inevitable chaos that comes with trying to survive NYFW in heels. For Episode 100 of Dinner for Shoes, I’m taking you inside the Spring/Summer 2027 runway season — from the collections and trends I loved to what Fashion Week actually looks like between shows. We’re going behind the scenes at Cult Gaia, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Alice + Olivia, Christian Siriano, SIMKHAI, 7 For All Mankind, Tibi, Prabal Gurung, Selkie, PatBO, and more, breaking down everything from the return of maximalism and bold color to some seriously incredible accessories. Plus: my daily NYFW outfits, street-style moments, mishaps, random New Yorkers commenting on my clothes, and all the very Dinner for Shoes moments that never make it into a traditional Fashion Week recap. Dinner for Shoes is a podcast about style and identity where everyone has a seat at the table. 🍽️👠 Hosted by shopping director & social host Sarah Wasilak (https://www.instagram.com/slwasz/?hl=en) and produced by creative director Megan Kai (https://www.instagram.com/megankaii/?hl=en), Dinner for Shoes explores style, identity, personal expression, inclusive fashion, and the real-life stories behind what we wear. Across 100+ episodes, the show has welcomed designers, founders, stylists, creators, authors, wellness voices, and other culture-shapers for conversations that prove fashion is rarely just about the clothes. The Dinner for Shoes universe now includes three episode formats: 👠 DINNER FOR SHOES: Intimate dinner-style conversations where every episode starts with a shoe on Sarah’s plate before the actual food arrives. Expect great guests, meaningful conversations, local eats, and frequent interruptions from resident cats Trish and Kit. 💬 SHOE THERAPY: Honest advice, personal stories, and unfiltered conversations about confidence, relationships, self-expression, and real life . . . always delivered in a really good outfit. 🎬 THE SCENE: Dinner for Shoes leaves the table and heads into the world, exploring Fashion Week, creative studios, street style, behind-the-scenes moments, and the people shaping fashion and culture in real time. How a Podcast Host and Creative Director Build a Brand Together | The Scene

Dinner for Shoes is entering a new era. But first, we’re taking you behind the scenes. In episode 99, host Sarah Wasilak and producer and creative director Megan Kai break down the show’s creative refresh, from choosing a new color palette to developing the visual concept and scouting the perfect locations for a brand new photo shoot. They also revisit the three Dinner for Shoes episode formats, laugh through some of the podcast’s biggest past fails, and bring in Trish and Kit for a very important thank you after nearly 100 episodes of scene-stealing appearances. This special episode of The Scene is a short, funny, and sentimental look at how Dinner for Shoes continues to evolve without losing what made it special in the first place.
