About DIPLOCHATZ

L.G.N stands for Local.Global Nevada. Earlier Diplochatz, it is Northern Nevada International Center's (NNIC) rebranded podcast show. We are creating interactive interview-based audio-visual content that highlight the impact of NNIC locally and around the world. Local. Global. Nevada is NNIC's voice to the community. It is a human-centered podcast that brings international, immigrant and refugee stories to the forefront. It is aimed to explain how global events shape Northern Nevada, and foster (encourage) dialogue that builds trust across cultures. Amplifying local voices weaving in global perspectives, the podcast serves as a bridge of diplomacy, connection, and understanding. We ensure that when new Nevadans thrive, our community is stronger. We talk about the work NNIC is doing, bringing in experts to break down complex global issues and the U.S. policies, and explain how it affects Northern Nevada. L.G.N is hosted by Yulia Rajeh, Marketing and Strategic Communication Specialist for NNIC. New L.G.N episodes will be out every two weeks.
