We had the pleasure of sitting down with our friend, Ryan Tennant, while we were away on our CQB Instructor Course this summer, and stap in for a long one! Ryan is a beauty human being who is a wealth of knowledge and experience from domestic to international operations with the RCMP ERT, and as an independant contractor. In this pod we take a dive into CQB evolution and mindsets, how ERT selection was back in the day, and why it's changed for the better. As well as the mental health repercussions from a career that ended on a less-than-perfect note. We will be doing a part 2 with Ryan this fall, still left lots to discuss! Enjoy!

Direct Action Podcast: Former JTF2 Coxswain (SOC), Chris Matheson
https://www.directactions.ca/
https://www.facebook.com/DirectActions https://www.instagram.com/direct_action_combat/
What I believe to be our longest, and potentially, funniest podcast to date. Randy was joined by former coworker, and recently retired Special Operations Coxswain, Chris Matheson. Chris talks to us about his experience leading up to his time in the military, how he learned about JTF2, all things Maritime Counter Terrorism, and the very real consequences of his job. Chris was medically released this year due to TBI-related issues, and opened up about his struggles, and what people in his situation can do to help themselves. Hilarious at times, incredibly heavy at other times. Big thank you to Chris for taking the time to tell his story.

We have been so lucky to sit down with human beings who are real-life heroes, and Ben Besant was no exception. This was, quite frankly, one of the most powerful and emotionally heavy podcasts we've ever had.
A big thank you to the fine folks at OTAB who helped arrange this meeting, and to Ben for taking the time to share his story with us.
Please, if you are able, go show Ben the support he deserves:
