Dirty Laundry with Ollie is a podcast that elevates personal stories and supports women in trusting themselves again. Through honest storytelling, gentle psychoeducation, and meaningful conversation, each season explores themes like identity, motherhood, relationships, healing, and personal growth. This is a space to unlearn the noise, reclaim your voice, and build community. My hope is that every woman who listens feels grounded, seen, empowered, and confident in who she already is. Together, we are healing out loud.
BODY IMAGE: Alone in Your Own Body: From Isolation and Shame to Creating Space to Be Seen With Glenna Scholle-Malone | S07E62
In this episode, we’re talking about body image, eating disorders, shame, and the ways we can learn to believe that our bodies need to look a certain way in order for us to be loved, accepted, or worthy. Glenna shares her deeply personal story of growing up feeling different, being bullied for her weight, and learning from a young age to hide herself. What began as restrictive eating eventually became a cycle of binge eating and bulimia that followed her for years, often hidden behind the belief that she was simply trying to be “healthy.”
We talk about the loneliness that comes with struggling in silence, the complicated relationship between trauma and control, and how society’s praise for weight loss can sometimes reinforce the very behaviors that are hurting us. Glenna also shares how faith became a foundational part of her recovery, helping her begin to see her body not as something to punish or control, but as a vessel worth honoring and fueling for the life God has called her to live.
This isn’t a story about a perfect recovery or a before-and-after transformation. It’s a conversation about grace, healing, and breaking free from the shame that keeps us isolated. Glenna shares how her own story has given her a deeper heart for young girls who may be silently struggling with body image and disordered eating, and why sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is use our voice, speak up, and create space for someone else to realize they aren’t alone.

BODY IMAGE: The Weight We Carry: diet culture, GLP-1s, & the Search for Enough With Coco Muraca | S07E61
In this episode, we’re talking about the complicated relationship so many of us have with food, weight, and the mirror. We explore the ups and downs of dieting, weight fluctuations, family messages about food, the stigma surrounding GLP-1 medications, and how our beliefs about our bodies often run much deeper than appearance. We also talk about faith, identity, shame, and what it looks like to pursue health without constantly feeling at war with yourself.
This isn’t a conversation about telling you what you should eat or how your body should look. It’s an invitation to get curious about your story, challenge the narratives you’ve inherited, and remember that your worth has never been determined by your size.

BODY IMAGE: A Dancer’s Journey from Perfectionism to Peace with Lisa Price | S07E60
For so many of us, body image starts long before we realize it.
In this episode, I’m joined by Lisa Price, a former dancer whose relationship with her body was shaped by years of striving, restriction, and the pressure to look a certain way. We talk about where those beliefs begin, how dance culture can influence the way we see ourselves, and what it means to untangle those messages.
But Lisa’s story took an unexpected turn. After the unimaginable loss of her daughter, her perspective on her body changed in ways she never could have anticipated. Grief shifted what mattered, and the body she once tried so hard to control became something she learned to appreciate in an entirely different way.
Today, Lisa is helping create spaces where dancers can experience movement without shame, where bodies are celebrated for what they can do—not just how they look.
