The Hit (1984)
It’s time for one of the hippest, coolest, indie road trip gangster films you’re ever likely to see.
Join the Cinephiles in going a little too deep into Stephen Frears’ 1984 cult classic The Hit. Starring Terence Stamp in a career-defining role, John Hurt as cinema’s most reptilian and mysterious hitman, and Tim Roth in his first big screen breakout. It’s a hitman movie, it’s a road trip movie, it’s an expat movie, it's a philosophical movie, and to top it off Laura Del Sol provides buxom sex appeal for this existential thrill ride through Spain.
See why Chistopher Nolan named this one of his 10 favorite Criterion movies all time. And stay for the abundance of off-color jokes featuring a certain disgraced financier who shall remain nameless. The Cinephiles go where other podcasts won’t in bringing you the story and ethereal allure of THE HIT.

Join the guys as they delve into Robert Rodriguez's 2007 action horror comedy schlock fest PLANET TERROR. A movie that is NOT FOR EVERYONE but for those select few who like their movies dripping with sleaze, gloriously gory, hilariously campy and genuinely shocking.
