[…] There's a lot going on that I've seen about like the involvement of parents and dating versus courting and those sorts of things. So I'm giving you my opinion. This is an area in which good Catholics can disagree. The church has not come out and said specifically what this should look like, but she has given us some guidance on what is appropriate as you are discerning. John Paul II had a lot to say about this, which I have studied extensively over the course of my ministry work. So I'm going to kind of bottle it down and give you these stages of dating. At this point in my work, I think that there are six specific stages of dating and I am hoping to break down each of those for you in a way that helps you to feel very confident moving in a dating relationship towards a marriage that will be healthy and successful and long lasting.
