[…] The first one I want to mention is there is this other very popular book out there, it's called The First Lanny Days, and it's been going very strong, I mean, it sold over two million copies over the 21 years, and it sounds like appealing, right? I mean, who wouldn't want to be done with their onboarding after Lanny Days? I would love to do that. The reality is if you're working at the executive level, it's unlikely that you will get anything done in the 90 days, and so this is why the framework that I described in my book, the double diamond framework of executive transitions, is a 12 plus months journey, meaning when I get to work with those CEOs and CFOs and CHROs, I always contract with them for a 12 months time period, because that's how long it takes for them to get to a successful outcome during the first year.
