Het land is verdeeld. Tenminste, zo voelt het voor Nina. ‘De andere kant’ ziet migratie en verloren identiteit als problematisch, maar Nina ziet de wereld langzaam ten onder gaan aan klimaatverandering en sociale ongelijkheid. Ze voelt zich machteloos, maar ook boos. Het is tijd om in actie te komen. Het doel? Ten minste één iemand overtuigen om over te steken naar ‘haar kant’. In een tijd waarin de dienstplicht in Nederland al decennia is opgeschort, kiest Tommy er bewust voor zijn militaire dienst in Finland te vervullen. Waar de meeste van zijn studiegenoten denken "Ja, dag, zoek het uit", twijfelt hij geen moment, en gaat. Wat bezielt een student van de Willem de Kooning Academie om zijn opleiding en zijn droom filmregisseur te worden stil te zetten? En wat doet dat met zijn blik op de wereld? #290 - Een klassenfoto
Iedereen staat wel ergens op een klassenfoto. Weet je nog wie je klasgenoten waren? Vond je het fijn op school? Of wil je liever nooit meer aan die periode herinnerd worden? In het archief van het Joods Museum in Amsterdam is de klassenfoto bewaard van klas 2L van het Joods Lyceum. Het is de enige klassenfoto die er tot nu toe is gevonden van deze school, die tijdens de Duitse bezetting is opgericht. Destijds werden alle joodse kinderen van hun scholen verwijderd en geplaatst op haastig opgerichte, aparte scholen. Sandra Rottenberg doet verslag van hoe het deze kinderen is vergaan, in deze documentaire over het gemak van het opstellen van lijstjes en van veerkracht en moed van docenten en leerlingen.
