"Does This Make My Ash Look Big?" is a lighthearted and comical podcast where hosts explore all things cremation and post-mortem wishes with a twist. Occasionally special guests join in on the fun to share their unique and often funny thoughts on where they'd like their ashes spread, while diving into random topics from body and organ donation to dating, outdoor activities, and favorite travel destinations. With plenty of humor, personal stories, and a weekly unanswerable question, this podcast is a quirky and fun way to rethink how we approach life... and death.

This week, we’re heading to the body farm, because apparently there are places where you can donate your body to science and spend your afterlife decomposing in a field. We’re getting into what actually happens at a body farm, why researchers study decomposition, and, most importantly, what the hell happens to your clothes while you’re out there rotting.
Then, naturally, we take a hard left turn into our newest grievance: Gen Z talking shit about Millennial fashion. Apparently skinny jeans, side parts, and whatever else we wore are “out,” while they’re walking around in sweatpants and somehow wearing the exact same clothes we did 15 years ago.
From dead bodies to dead fashion trends, this episode really has it all.

Ashes to Assets
What do used caskets, secondhand urns, unhinged Facebook Marketplace listings, and the algorithm convincing us we desperately need something we’ve never heard of have in common? Absolutely nothing… and somehow, everything.
This week, we’re turning ashes into assets as we talk about the world of previously loved caskets and urns, the absolute chaos lurking on Facebook Marketplace, and the increasingly personal experience of being aggressively target marketed things we definitely do not need (but suddenly feel like we cannot live without).
Then it’s time for Flame It or Frame It, featuring an Instagram meme Bailey found that may or may not deserve a permanent place on the internet.
Because apparently, even death can be repurposed, resold, and targeted by the algorithm.

Cremation is Getting Expensive, Dating is Getting Worse
Cremation prices are going up, and apparently death isn’t immune to inflation. This week, we’re kicking things off with the $975-to-$1,275 cremation price jump, what that extra $300 might actually get you, and how exactly you become the person trusted to operate the equipment when someone is getting cremated. Because yes, there is actual training involved.
Then we make the completely natural transition from cremation to modern dating. We revisit the absolute fever dream that was MTV dating shows, compare them to dating in 2026, and ask ourselves how we went from strangers being forced to choose between three questionable suitors on television to swiping through 47 people named Matt.
Plus, another round of Flame It or Frame It, because apparently we still have plenty of opinions about death, dating, and everything in between.
It’s cremation, career paths, MTV nostalgia, and dating disasters. Basically, a perfectly normal conversation.
