Dogs, hosted by Cole Lasher and Jonathan Czinder of Oregon Tails, creators of the Jentle Method. Here we share time discussing our thoughts, feelings, importance and observations of dogs, the dog industry as a whole, horses, routine, behaviors, techniques, that which cannot be seen, but felt and more.
Love, life. dogs...enjoy!
In this episode we reflect on 8 years of running our Student of the Dog Workshops. Where we teach people the Jentle Method leadwork, work through any behaviors a dog has or shows us during the workshop, you name it and we have probably seen it at a workshop. We build 2 way communication between a person and dog and lay a foundation of connection that the pair can return to in times of need or whenever they would like.
We discuss what to expect and suggestions when participating or auditing, a few stories, changes we have made to the program and the unique opportunity that comes when working with a dog through the Jentle Method in person. This path is one that is vastly different from other dog training or handling techniques, we discuss this and so much more in this episode.
