Hey folks,
Welcome back to the podcast! This week, the energy in the room is unmatched because my good friends Pietro and Shahrukh are on the mic.
After a long time of planning we finally managed to sit down and talk about our "questionable" hot takes. We dive into some fantastic topics and spend a lot of time breaking down the messy, hilarious, and completely relatable side of human interaction.
I hope you enjoy!

Episode 13 - Unpacking The Secret History with Marta
In this special episode, I am joined by my good friend Marta, who traveled all the way from Latvia to help me dissect the dark, obsessive world of Donna Tartt’s The Secret History.
We’re stepping onto the snowy, elite campus of Hampden College to explore the lives of six Ancient Greek students who took their studies a little too literally. From the 'divine madness' of a ritual gone wrong in the Vermont woods to the cold-blooded murder of one of their own, we’re breaking down the 'why-dunnit' of the century.
Grab a glass of grappa (or just a coffee), put on your favorite wool coat, and join us as we explore why this 30-year-old 'Secret History' is still haunting us today.

Episode 7 - One toe to rule them all - with Angel and Tobias
This week I’ve got two absolute menaces on the pod — my friends Tobiáš and Angel. We roast each other, drop some very questionable hot takes, play games that definitely should not be played in public, and try improv storytelling that goes completely off the rails. It’s messy, unfiltered, and way too much fun. Basically: don’t expect wisdom, expect chaos.

Episode 6 - 🌾 Cottages, Cancelled Plans, and Yellowface
This week’s episode starts off a little different — I spent two days at Milan’s cottage in the countryside, and I want to share what that quiet reset felt like before we dive into the main topic.
I had originally planned to record with Angel and Tobias, but thanks to a delayed train we had to reschedule — that conversation will be out next week. Instead, today’s focus is on Yellowface by R.F. Kuang — a sharp, satirical novel about jealousy, race, cultural appropriation, and the publishing industry.
In this episode, I unpack the plot, the messy brilliance of its characters, the themes that stood out to me, and the bigger questions it raises about who gets to tell which stories. Expect reflections on envy, ambition, social media, and the way literature holds up a mirror to our world.
