Sometimes distance doesn’t weaken a relationship—it reveals how much it means.
This week, Briley and Britton talk about how living apart has actually made them more intentional with each other. What used to be a built-in sister relationship has become a friendship they now have to choose.
They reflect on the little things they miss, what they’ve learned to appreciate, and how to keep old relationships strong while building new ones.
Because loving people well means being present, paying attention, and choosing to show up.

Family Weekend
The sisters are finally back together — and Family Weekend did not disappoint.
Briley and Britton are catching up from Union after a weekend full of dorm life, way too much food, a 5K, a barre class, fireworks, a questionable Ferris wheel, very little sleep, and Britton getting the full college experience for a few days.
But somewhere between all the chaos, they also get into what this season has really been like.
Britton shares what it’s been like adjusting to life at home without Briley, while Briley talks about starting over, making new friends, learning to be herself in a completely new environment, and discovering just how much growth can happen when life changes.
They also talk about quiet time, reading Scripture, learning to be present, and why some of the biggest changes in life can become some of the best opportunities to grow closer to God.
Basically: a Family Weekend recap, sister catch-up, and a little life advice mixed in.

Called to People
Family Weekend means one thing: Dad gets to ask the questions.
This week, Briley sits down with her dad for an honest look at what college life has actually been like so far—the fun parts, the hard parts, the unexpected lessons, and the things she wishes she had known before move-in day.
They talk friendships, classes, homesickness, church, learning basic life skills, getting enough sleep, and figuring out how to build a life when your schedule suddenly belongs completely to you.
But one piece of advice from Dad’s letters has stuck with Briley more than almost anything else:
You’re not called to a place. You’re called to people.
That mindset has changed the way she sees roommates, classmates, friendships, church, and every new person God has placed in her path.
And when Dad asks for her most practical advice for anyone heading into college, Briley comes back to one thing: build the habit of spending intentional time with God before life gets busy enough to push Him to the end of the day.
