   Mark Colton from Credo (20261013)

In this fascinating episode, Peggy‑Sue is joined by Mark Colton, lead singer of the acclaimed progressive rock band Credo, to explore the band's remarkable journey and their brand‑new album, We The Disconnected. Credo have beencreating and performing powerful, melodic and thought‑provoking rock music for more than three decades, earning a reputation as one of the European progressive rock scene's most respected and captivating live acts. Once described as “The best progressive rock band you've never heard of," Credo have continued to build on the success of their critically acclaimed albums Rhetoric and Against Reason, culminating in the release of their fourth studio album, We The Disconnected. The album presents an intimate portrait of a fractured modern world, combining soaring musicianship, unforgettable melodies and deeply personal reflections on our place in an ever‑changing society. During the conversation, Mark shares stories from the band's 30‑plus years of recording and touring, the challenges and triumphs that shaped Credo's evolution, and the inspiration behind their long‑awaited new release. Peggy‑Sue also plays three tracks from We The Disconnected, giving listeners a taste of the band's signature blend of powerful songwriting, lyrical depth and progressive musical ambition. If you love intelligent rock music, epic melodies and hearing the stories behind the songs, this episode is an essential listen. BIAS (20261006)

In this high‑octane, riff‑packed episode, Peggy‑Sue sits down with Ian, drummer and one‑fifth of the Wiltshire rock band BIAS — proudly known as the home of dustbin rock. BIAS blend punk, classic rock, heavy rock, goth and modern alternative into one gloriously chaotic, genre‑crashing sound. Their sets are loud, raw, unpredictable and full of attitude — the kind of music that feels like a wild rummage through decades of rock history, all thrown together with a grin and a power‑chord. In this episode, Ian talks about the band’s origins, their influences, their energy, and what makes “dustbin rock” such a fun, fearless identity. Peggy‑Sue also plays tracks from their album “Scream Into The Silence” giving listeners a taste of BIAS’s gritty, eclectic, full‑throttle style. If you love rock that doesn’t follow the rules — and musicians who embrace the chaos — this episode is an absolute blast. JP Oldfield (20260922)

In this darkly cinematic and deeply compelling episode, Peggy‑Sue welcomes JP Oldfield, a Wiltshire‑based independent singer‑songwriter whose music blends Southern Gothic, dark folk, Americana and blues into a haunting, roots‑rich sound. With his deep baritone voice, resonator guitar and signature suitcase bass drum, JP crafts raw, atmospheric songs built around storytelling, unusual instrumentation and a fascination with the shadowy corners of human experience. Inspired by artists like Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Johnny Cash and Colter Wall, JP’s work inhabits a world of ghosts, sinners, redemption, moral ambiguity and myth. His unconventional guitar style — shaped as a self‑taught musician — uses hybrid picking, unusual tunings and textured playing to create a sound that feels both intimate and cinematic. In this episode, Peggy‑Sue and JP dive into his ambitious new multimedia concept EP, Saltwater Gospel — inspired by dark maritime folklore, mythology and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The EP follows a Ferryman trapped between life and death, exploring grief, vengeance, religious hypocrisy, catastrophe and acceptance. Alongside the music, JP created the artwork and mythology himself, making Saltwater Gospel a complete creative world. Listeners will hear exclusive plays from the EP, offering a first glimpse into this immersive, atmospheric project. If you love roots music with depth, storytelling, and a voice that feels carved from the earth itself, this episode is unmissable.
