The Sunday homily doesn’t have to end at the church doors. You can now listen to the weekly message anytime and carry that reflection with you throughout the week.
Jesus' parable of the sower and the seed challenges us to consider how we receive God's Word and whether we allow it to take root in our lives.
Through a thought-provoking story of four individuals and their very different responses to faith, we explore what happens when God's Word is ignored, embraced briefly, crowded out by life's distractions, or allowed to grow and flourish.
Faith isn't simply about attending church or experiencing a moment of inspiration. It's about allowing God's Word to shape how we live, the choices we make, and the relationships we build.
The question is simple: Is God's Word truly taking root in your life, and what kind of fruit is it producing?

Are We Prepared to Meet the Lord?
We spend much of our lives preparing for the future, yet often avoid thinking about the one event we will all eventually face: death.
Reflecting on the Gospel account of Jesus raising the widow of Nain’s son, we are reminded that preparing for death involves more than making funeral arrangements. It means examining how we live today, the relationships we nurture, the forgiveness we offer, and the faith we share.
As Christians, our hope rests in Christ’s victory over death and His promise of eternal life. Perhaps the most important question is not whether we have prepared for our funeral, but whether we are preparing to meet the Lord.

The Bible is a Treasure Map (2026.10.04)
What if God’s commandments are an invitation to share His life? Scripture leads us beyond simply being nice and toward becoming like God. The Golden Rule becomes a “golden ladder,” inviting us to climb higher: love our enemies, give without expecting anything in return, and become merciful as our heavenly Father is merciful. At the heart of this journey is the treasure God longs to give us—Himself.
