Marcy and AP are the doves. Some peace loving, media and art loving and of course loving loving folks. We cover queer, Latin American, trans, and personal topics every week. Our approach is heartfelt!! In each episode, we cover the topic conversationally. Motivating the piece to present a view point that is analyzed to our modern conditions.
We brought back one of our favorite guests, Karen (@karneasadaa on TikTok) to talk about one of her favorite movies, Bottoms! Starring Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri.
Don’t know Karen? Get with the program! Karen is a bisexual Mexican American who grew a following online talking about colorism, racism, and social injustices. She is a native Chicagoan with a variety of interests. She has the knives out for all forms of patriarchal white supremacy perverts. Karen is an all round champion for the marginalized.
Karen and Marcy talk about why Bottoms rocks. AP talks about why the movie didn’t hit as hard for him on rewatch. Karen expounds on how the movie especially hits for queer women. Marcy makes fun of AP for being a man. It’s the women on the couch versus the man with the editing powers! Who will win?
Stay tuned for a discussion of whether the movie actually embodies being a Gen Z comedy, Ayo Edebiri glazing (she deserves it), and more queer people being funny and smart!
Karen on the next Live Show?!? More and more people are saying this.

Aronofsky's The Whale
It’s a whale of a time today in dovewhether! Because AP is met with the immininable, transient, and power house of a podcaster- Chirs Andersen from Your Favorate Bad Movie Podcast. The two boys sit down and talk about a 3rd fella. One that is downtrodden, when he can trod. He is also the fullbodied, like a nice wine. Today on the show we talk The Whale. Which is about a lot of things outside of the fat suit conversation. It’s about the power of the secular, nondenomitonational, word. About how the kids aren’t all right. It’s also about the sundowning of the American state. Sit down and have this meal!

Syd & TP's Show
Name the most dynamic duos. Troy & Abed. Finn & Jake. Marcy & AP. And of course… SYD & TP! If you’re not in the know, Sydney Colson and Theresa Plaisance are the two self-proclaimed Faces of the League. That league? The WNBA. That’s right, we’re not done talking about women’s basketball! But this time we’re talking about a COMEDIC duo that spawned from the WNBA. Syd and TP created and starred in a TV show in 2023, The Syd & TP Show. A show you can watch on YouTube or Fubo (there are so many goddamn streaming services).
Marcy & AP find the parallels between Syd & TP and themselves. Big aspirations? Check. Gay? Check. Would benefit from drag queens teaching us how to throw shade? Check. Taking an improv class? Check… except for AP, which leads to some contemplation. The Doves are inspired by Syd & TP to get loose and RIFF. Trans masc Jesus fans, this is the episode for you!
