From Outcast to Called: Darcy Kae’s Powerful Testimony | Heavenly Outcast | Part 1

What happens when the person the world rejects is the very person God has been preparing for a purpose? On this episode of Purpose by Design with Dr. Pamela Henkel, we welcome Darcy Kae, a two-time author and contributor to Stories of Transgression and Recovery, for the first part of an extraordinary conversation about calling, trauma, spiritual warfare, faith, and discovering that your past does not disqualify you from God's purpose. Darcy shares how she felt called for three years to write her own book, Heavenly Outcast, but struggled with fear, inadequacy, and what she describes as severe spiritual writer's block. She eventually experienced a powerful dream she called “The Holdup,” followed by an extraordinary season of creative and spiritual inspiration that helped her complete the book. At the heart of Darcy's story is a powerful revelation: she may have felt like an outcast in the eyes of society, but God never saw her that way. Darcy opens up about a childhood surrounded by tragedy, addiction, suicide, alcoholism, and profound loss. She shares deeply personal experiences from her early life, including a childhood suicide attempt and spiritual experiences that would later take on new meaning. She also reveals prophetic experiences from childhood and young adulthood—including a recurring significance surrounding the number three and a powerful dream at age 21 that she believes gave her a glimpse of where her life was ultimately headed. Her story is a reminder that God's plan for your life isn't canceled by your past. ✨ In Part 1, you'll hear about: • Darcy's journey as an author • The calling behind Heavenly Outcast • Overcoming fear and feelings of inadequacy • Spiritual writer's block and “The Holdup” • Her revelation about being an outcast • Childhood trauma and family tragedy • Addiction, suicide, and loss within her family • Early spiritual and prophetic experiences • The significance of the number three • A powerful dream about reaching the “mountain of glory” • Discovering that God had a purpose for her before she understood it herself This conversation is raw, honest, and deeply personal—and it is only the beginning. 🙏🏽 Join us next week for Part 2 with Darcy Kae as her story continues. Your past does not define your purpose. You are here on purpose, with a purpose, by design, not by default. #PurposeByDesign #DarcyKae #HeavenlyOutcast #DrPamelaHenkel #ChristianTestimony #GodsPurpose #FaithJourney #OvercomingTrauma #ChristianAuthor #StoriesOfTransgressionAndRecovery

Your Life Is Not Random | Part 3 Meditation: Discover Your Next Step | Dr. Pamela Henkel

Welcome to Part 3 of Dr. Pamela Henkel’s “Your Life Is Not Random” series, a guided meditation designed to help you become still, quiet your mind, connect with God, and recognize the purpose within your current season. In this meditation, you’ll be encouraged to slow down, focus on your breathing, release anxiety and pressure, and become present to what God may be showing you right now. Are you building, rebuilding, healing, restoring, or learning? Whatever season you're in, you don't have to force it. You can nurture it through prayer, reflection, and intentional listening. Dr. Pamela explores grace as God's empowerment working within you and encourages you to look at what is already in front of you. The people, opportunities, conversations, ideas, gifts, talents, and responsibilities in your current life may be connected to your next step. Using the biblical example of Moses and his shepherd's staff, she reminds us that we don't need a complete map for our lives. Sometimes, we simply need to recognize what is already in our hand and trust God for the next step. Take a few moments to breathe, become still, and release the pressure to have everything figured out. Inhale peace and direction. Exhale pressure and performance. You are not random. You are intentional. You are purposeful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your life is on purpose, with a purpose, by design, not by default. 🙏🏽 Use this meditation as a quiet moment to pray, journal, reflect, and listen. #YourLifeIsNotRandom #PurposeByDesign #DrPamelaHenkel #GuidedMeditation #ChristianMeditation #GodGivenPurpose #FaithAndPurpose #ChristianEncouragement #PrayerMeditation #FindingYourPurpose

Your Life is Not Random, Part 2 - Marry your Purpose, Date your Plan

What if your purpose hasn't changed, even though your plans have? In Part 2 of the 3-part series, “Your Life Is Not Random,” Dr. Pamela Henkel continues the conversation about discovering and recognizing your God-given purpose. Your purpose is not something you have to manufacture through your own strength. God has placed ability within you, and your responsibility is to be willing to say YES, even when you don't know exactly how everything will unfold. One of the powerful concepts in this episode is: “Marry the purpose and date the plan.” Your purpose can remain constant while your plans change, pivot, or take an entirely different direction. A change in plans does not mean you've missed God or gotten off track. Sometimes, you're simply moving into a different season. Dr. Pamela explores the different seasons we experience in life—seasons of beginning, rebuilding, restoring, repositioning, and transition. These seasons can overlap, and sometimes life can feel complicated or uncertain. But being in a season of change does not mean you are out of purpose. In Part 2, you'll discover: ✨ The difference between your purpose and your plans ✨ Why you should “marry the purpose and date the plan” ✨ How to recognize the seasons and transitions in your life ✨ Why changing direction doesn't necessarily mean you're off track ✨ The importance of listening intentionally to the Holy Spirit ✨ How reflection and journaling can help you recognize what God is saying ✨ The meaning of the Hebrew word “moed”, an appointed and anointed time ✨ How to recognize whether you're entering, experiencing, or leaving a significant season ✨ Why your purpose remains a consistent theme even when circumstances change ✨ How to live intentionally as salt and light in the world Your life is intentional. You are purposeful. You are necessary. You don't have to have every detail figured out. You don't have to know the entire “how.” You can trust that God is working through the seasons, changes, pivots, and transitions of your life. Your purpose is the constant. The plan may change. As you watch this episode, take some time to reflect, grab a pen and paper, and ask yourself: What season am I in right now? Am I entering, experiencing, or transitioning out of a “moed” season? What might God be asking me to listen to, recognize, or do next? This is Part 2 of 3 in the “Your Life Is Not Random” series. Be sure to watch Part 1 and stay connected for Part 3! 🎥 Watch. Reflect. Listen. Recognize your season. Because your life is not random. You are here on purpose, with a purpose, by design, not by default. 👍 LIKE this video 💬 COMMENT: What season do you believe you are in right now? 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for Part 3 📲 SHARE this message with someone who needs to hear it
