Dream Chasers

About Dream Chasers

I am a Dream Chaser, as well as a certified Life and Career Coach, who delights in helping people pursue the career and lifestyle changes their inner self truly craves. In 2008, I made a radical discovery – my full and seemingly fulfilling life was making me seriously ill. I realised that things had to change and fast. As a result this meant moving my life out of the centre of London, and away from my corporate high-paced job, to rural Wales and re-training to embark on a completely new profession and working for myself. Dream Chasers are people who are ready to make actionable moves to craft their ideal career and life, aligned with what brings them joy and delight, on their own terms. This show is intentionally designed to infuse you with inspiration and practical advice on how to live true to yourself, go after your goals and radically conquer any obstacles standing in your way. You can expect to learn from like-minded Dream Chasers who are on their journey to transition to a new way of living and working, or from those who have already achieved their own version of happiness and success...their way. I have candid, uplifting and energetic conversations with friends, fellow experts, colleagues and clients, intended to give you a dose of humour, positivity and practical foresight. Living your life, true to you, is simple and daring. This show is here to give you solid insights and guidance to pursue your own transformation as you go in the direction of your epic dreams, happiness and greater meaning.

EP041 | Hidden No More: Growing a Word-of-Mouth Psychic Business, With Philippa Methuen

I sit down with my client Philippa Methuen, a psychic medium who has quietly built a thriving, word-of-mouth practice over more than two decades - all alongside her ongoing employed career. Philippa shares how the traumatic loss of her sister as a teenager sparked unexplained experiences that she didn’t understand at the time and how, years later, further loss and upheaval brought her back to exploring something she had once tried to ignore. We talk about stigma, secrecy, courage, confidence and what it really looks like to build a business slowly and organically without marketing, without a grand plan, and initially… under a different name. Whether you’re curious, sceptical, open, unsure - or a blend of all four - this conversation invites you into a gentle “what if?” space. - - - 𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗜𝗢: For over 35 years, Phillippa Methuen has worked within family businesses and estate agencies, but during this time her interest in spirituality deepened, and since the age of 37 she has been working professionally as a psychic medium, alongside her day job. Phillippa offers one-to-one and group readings, face-to-face and over Zoom, for clients in the UK and overseas, as well as Past Life Regression sessions, and workshops covering Vision Boarding with Oracle Cards, Journaling with Oracle Cards, Learning to Read Tarot and Oracle Cards, Meditation and Relaxation, and Spiritual Development. Her intention is always that each client leaves with something meaningful – whether that be healing, comfort, clarity or renewed confidence to live life fully. 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗢’𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗜𝗢: Alison is a highly experienced, certified life and career coach and is an active ideal life advocate. She’s the founder and designer of the Work Wonderland™ process, her proprietary model that helps people make career and life choices that truly align with their values, strengths, passions, skills and life goals. Alison hails from a high-paced, London-based corporate background, working for more than 20 years in the field of PR and Communications, until she made her own radical transition to her ideal life, living and working from a remote mountainside in Wales. Today she focusses her life coaching on supporting professionally successful people in making career changes that facilitate transformational life change. When Alison is not working, you can find her outdoors - walking beaches at the crack of dawn; experimenting with the universe and consciousness; trying her hand at paragliding; and delighting in the magic of the superhero’s quest. She is also Marvel movie obsessed. ================== All episodes are video recorded and can be watched in the website show notes (https://livetrue.co.uk/category/podcast/), or on YouTube. EP040 | Define your era, reject old labels and reclaim who you really are, with Alison O'Leary

In this episode: Here’s my invitation to you - to pause, reflect and get intentional about who you are becoming in 2026 – not through goals, resolutions or “self-improvement pressure”, but through identity. So many of us carry labels we never consciously chose. They’re handed to us by family, work, culture and circumstance, and over time they quietly become part of who we think we are. The problem? Once a label becomes part of your identity, you often start living in ways that protect it – even when it no longer feels good or true. In this solo episode, I explore how to recognise the labels you’re carrying, how to decide which ones you’re ready to release, and how to consciously choose the identity markers that genuinely feel like you. From there, we move into defining your “era” for 2026 (or your current new year, depending on when you are listening) – a declaration of how you want to feel, live and show up, on your own terms. - - - 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗢’𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗜𝗢: Alison is a highly experienced, certified life and career coach and is an active ideal life advocate. EP039 | Corporate Exhaustion to Soulful Retreat Creator, with Jo Chidwick

In this episode: Have you ever reached that point where your career looks brilliant on the outside, but feels like an emotional flatline on the inside? My guest, the vibrant and soulful Jo Chidwick, knows that feeling only too well. After 30 years in the corporate world - leading global marketing for major IT brands - Jo found herself exhausted, disconnected from joy, and realising she’d drifted miles away from the parts of her work that once lit her up. And like so many of us, her wake-up call came from a quiet but persistent voice inside whispering, “Is this really it?” In this uplifting episode, Jo shares how she moved from autopilot to alignment; from relentless meetings to running meaningful retreats; and how a single stay in France planted the first seeds of a brand-new life. Today she splits her time between the UK and France, running soulful, holistic retreats that help people rest, reconnect, and rediscover who they are. This conversation is warm, hopeful, full of giggles, and beautifully honest and it might just spark something inside you too. Come join us. - - - 𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗜𝗢: Jo Chidwick is the founder of Largus Retreats, a soulful retreat experience for people who want to step out of the noise and reconnect with themselves. Based between France and the UK, her retreats blend nourishing food, restorative practices, creativity, nature, and a warm, welcoming community feel. After three decades working in London’s corporate world as a Global Marketing Director in the IT industry, Jo completely redesigned her life. Today she offers small, intimate retreat experiences in Somerset and the Dordogne, with themes ranging from wild swimming to floating sound baths to seasonal reset weekends. Her work is grounded in joy, intuition, freedom and connection — and her retreats often gather people from across life stages, encouraging them to rest, explore, and rediscover what matters.
