In a time when churches are closing, faith is being deconstructed, and culture is confused about who Jesus really is, this message brings us back to an unshakable promise straight from the words of Christ Himself: “I will build My church.”
Preaching from Matthew 16:13–20, this sermon takes us to Caesarea Philippi—a place saturated with false gods and spiritual darkness—where Jesus asks the most important question anyone can ever answer: “Who do you say that I am?” From Peter’s confession to Jesus’ declaration of authority, we are reminded that the church is not built on personalities, opinions, programs, or politics, but on the revealed truth of who Jesus is—the Christ, the Son of the living God.
In this episode, we explore:
Why the confession of Christ is the foundation of the church
How revelation from God, not human reasoning, sustains authentic faith
What it means for Jesus to be the Builder of His Church
Why the church is called to advance with Kingdom authority, not retreat in fear
This message is both timely and reassuring: we are not responsible for building something fragile—we are participating in something eternal. If Christ is the Builder, the church is secure, and the gates of hell will not prevail.
Whether you’re a leader, a believer wrestling with doubt, or someone longing for clarity about the church’s purpose, this sermon calls us to trust Jesus’ promise and boldly live as His ekklesia—the called-out people of God.
Listen, reflect, and respond in faith.
