And when you do that, You cherish them, but in a very different way than the people who you've known for long periods of time, who've seen you at your best, who've seen you at your worst. The ones you know, the people you call for a beer or to help you move a couch are often very different than the people you call when you're sad or when you're when your mom is sick or when something bad happens. you know, because those people have seen you at your worst already and they've helped pick you up. And I just kind of love the idea of this whole book focusing on those forces that are at play because sometimes I read to get away from the world, but more often I think I read to understand the world and to better understand my relationships and the people in my life and how I, you know, the part I play in them for better or for worse, things I do right, the things that I do wrong.
