E12 - Surviving a Stormy Cornish Rib Boat Ride & Big YouTube Changes!
In Episode 12 of the Rich on the Road podcast, I'm bringing you some massive channel updates, including a brand-new release schedule designed to align with when you're actually watching! I also share a quick update on my new weekly newsletter and explain why I'm stepping away from the daily trap of checking stagnant YouTube analytics.
Then, we dive into the main feature: the first few days of our family trip to Cornwall.
From navigating the steep walks and shuttle buses around Polmanter Touring Park, to getting completely pummelled by atrocious weather on a high-speed rib boat trip out to Godrevy Lighthouse and Seal Island, I give you the honest, unvarnished truth of what happened—including the moment my stomach couldn't handle bobbing around the harbour.
To wrap things up, I share some fantastic local recommendations for St Ives, including a solid spot for hot comfort food to escape the rain, a scenic 15,000-step coastal hike, and why you need to keep your eyes peeled for a rock shaped like a man's head!

E11 - The best Touring Park in St Ives? Polmanter Touring Park
In Episode 11 of the Rich on the Road podcast, I'm checking in with the shifting UK weather as autumn begins to take hold here.
I give you a transparent update on my YouTube subscriber counts and explain why the results of my ongoing AI thumbnail experiment—testing a 100% authentic design against an AI-manipulated one—will officially have to wait until next week to finish.
The heart of this week's show is a comprehensive, unsponsored review of Polmanter Touring Park in Halsetown, just on the outskirts of St Ives.
Having used it as our family base for six nights during the peak August season, I lay out all the exact facts, figures, layout quirks, and costs.
From the absolute convenience of leaving our campervan behind to take a 20-minute downhill stroll into town, to navigating those tricky wave-sensor showers and dodging sudden Cornish downpours that threatened my wind-out awning, I cover the real highs and lows of this premium family campsite.

E10 - Road Tripping to Torquay & Golitha Falls plus Realities of the YouTube Grind
In Episode 10 of the Rich on the Road podcast, Richard serves up an honest, unscripted look at the daily grit of content creation.
He breaks down the waiting game of his recent YouTube thumbnail A/B test and vents some good-natured frustration over stagnant subscriber counts and bot activity.
Then, it’s time to head west! Richard takes you along on the first leg of his summer trip toward Cornwall.
This week's adventure features a packed 24-hour stopover on the sun-drenched Devon coast in Torquay, a seafront Premier Inn stay, and a dinner service hiccup at L'Iguana's.
The journey continues onto Bodmin Moor for a beautiful riverside hike through the gorge at Golitha Falls National Nature Reserve—complete with a review of a must-visit pitstop for elite milkshakes hidden right in the car park.
