Twenty-seven-year-old Natalie Jones vanished after a July 4th lake party in Alabama in 2020. Ninety-three days later, her car and her remains were found in a rural Georgia field. No arrest. No clear answer. No closure for the family left behind.The official theory was an accidental overdose. But a negative toxicology report, a drug baggie with no fingerprints, and a phone that never left Natalie's hand — one that’s still missing — tell a different story. Shortly before her death, Natalie had begun speaking out about the men in her life: a bitter ex-husband, an alleged childhood abuser, a lover tied to drug trafficking. […] Whether it was accidental or intentional, it is my personal opinion that there's someone that knows how she died and was with her at that time. Investigator Boswell, who retired from Heard County Sheriff's Office shortly after my interviews with him, told me as much, and that if they could find out who that person was, there may still be a chance at getting justice for Natalie if they played any role in her death. In our circle of individuals who have looked at this case, between me and a couple of the investigators that had looked at it over the years, we believe there's a possibility that there was somebody there So if we were able to identify that individual, be a far reach, but it's possible it could be still even to this day prosecuted because there's no statute of limitations on murder.
