Sell or Be Sold | The Battle of The Mind
In this episode of the We The Church Podcast, we explore the daily battle of the mind and the idea that every person is constantly “selling” themselves on something. Inspired by Grant Cardone’s book Sell or Be Sold, we talk about decision fatigue, temptation, spiritual warfare, and the war between flesh and spirit. This episode challenges listeners to ask themselves: are you selling yourself on righteousness, or letting your flesh sell you on sin? Featuring scripture from Galatians 5:17, Romans 8:13, and 2 Corinthians 10:5, this is a practical conversation about renewing your mind, taking thoughts captive, and choosing true healing over temporary relief. Your mind is the sales floor. It’s sell or be sold.

Coffee & Conviction | Embracing Singleness: Passionate Pursuit of God & His Kingdom
Subject: Singles, Family’s & Marriages James 4:8 says, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. The enemy loves to attack our pursuit. We must realize that out of a God’s passionate pursuit for intimacy we were created. We were uniquely purposed for pursuit! In the garden, we walked with God, talked with God and we had intimate fellowship with God! And when humanity messed everything up with sin! God prepared a plan to die for us, so that way we could continue to pursue him! This is why the enemy tries to attack your families pursuit! The enemy knows if he can stop your pursuit of God he can cause you to pursue other things. We were created by God for God and Our pursuit of God matters! Singles For every “single” person: Embrace this moment! You won’t be single forever, so use this season of singleness to strengthen your pursuit of God, learn how to embrace God’s intimacy. Find your identity rooted in who He created to be not as the world tries to define you! Don’t become so fixated on your pursuit of “the one” that you forget how to pursue the lord! A significant other will not fulfill your life But a significant encounter with God will alter your destiny! Marriages Now for all the married people, The enemy tries so hard to attack your pursuit of God. Because he knows that the family relationship is structured after Gods relationship Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3xCK4jkjm4&t=325s)) Loving your wives, as Christ loved the church starts with husbands pursue God. How can husbands truly love like christ if they don’t spend time resting in Christ’s love? Husbands how are you supposed to lead your family if you aren’t demonstrating being led by God? It’s in your pursuit of God that God will begin to guide you on how to lead your family in love! Husband If submit to God, your wives will submit to you. Because you are leading from a place of overflowing love that stems from your pursuit of God! So husbands and wives Keep God at the center of your marriage and pursue God together! Families Train your children to pursue God! Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Prayer point: We submit to the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us for all the single, all the married people, and all families in Jesus' name – faithful pursuits of God will be restored in Jesus’ name. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/convictionandcoffee/message

Coffee & Conviction | Importance of Personal Revival
Lenard Ravenhill why revival tarries church ; “You could have revival over a church Revival over a city or revival over a nation” How do we get revival in our church? How do we get revival in San Antonio? How do we get revival in America? The answer is quite simple “Revival starts with us” In order to experience corporate Revival, we must first experience personal revival! Revival means to be revived: What once was alive being brought back to life As Christians, we know that when you are born into this world, you are born, spiritually dead in Jesus needs to make you spiritually alive! This means that sinners experience salvation But the saved experiences revival! Revival is for people who have already been saved, but have started to fall away from Faith! We have seen a great decline of morals In our nation and even churches have departed from sound doctrine! America desperately needs a Revival so that the church can be in alignment with God and his word and more souls can be saved! 2 Chronicles 7:14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. As we pray, and as seek God face, he is restoring everything the enemy has stolen! Prayer : God, we humble ourselves before you seek your face! We are declare right now people will know God! People will find freedom. People will discover purpose and people will make a difference. We ask you Holy Spirit to pray through us today, on behalf of the church, on behalf of San Antonio and behalf of our nation that revival will come in Jesus name ! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/convictionandcoffee/message

Coffee & Conviction | Unlocking Blessings | Were The Disciples Rich? | Truth About Prosperity
Matthew 6:28-30 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? Solomon Had roughly 25 tons of gold annually stacked in his palace and treasury. That’s about 1.1 BILLION dollars of gold each year. And he ruled for 40 years Hebrews 11:6 rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Rich young ruler Mark 10:21-30 Jesus looks around At his disciples Who had wealth! Jesus overflowed 2 fishing boats until they where sinking Using the dimensions of a boat from approximately the same time and location, we estimate that a total of 62,696 pounds of fish filled the 2 boats What Type of Money $$$ did they make on this one catch? For the Low Estimate of Denarii Communes: 699,272 Denari communes (Low quality fish) 699,272 / 25 = 27,971 day’s pay. / 288 days per year worked = 97 years’ pay at General Laborer’s pay. 699,272/50 = 13,985 day’s pay / 288 days per year worked = 48.6 years’ pay at Skilled Laborer’s pay. For the High Estimate of Denari Communes: 1,048,908 Denarii Communes (High quality fish) 1,048,908 /25 = 41,956 days’ pay / 288 days per year worked = 145.7 years’ pay at General Laborer’s pay 1,048,908/50 = 20,978 days’ pay / 288 days per year worked = 72.8 years’ pay at Skilled Laborer’s pay. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/convictionandcoffee/message

Coffee & Conviction | Was It Really The Holy Spirit? Exposing Emotionalism
Holy Spirit Experiences or Emotionalism? Let me start off by saying this. I have been in great atmospheres where God is moving, people are healed, and on their faces in worship! Ive seen people stand up out of wheel chairs. I’ve prayed for people and they’ve been healed of cancer. One guy tested positive for aids I prayed with him and the doctors verified the aids virus disappeared and he was cured. I say all that to say GOD STILL MOVES! We must Identify what’s moving us! Why, because it is dangerous to us and our witness when we do things out of emotion and call it the Holy Spirit. We must have a balance of the word and the move. Remember the WORD is God! Which means the move of the Holy Spirit is still subject to the word! To many of the church prayer warriors are giving out prophecies like they are fortune tellers at a strip mall. Like I was at church one time and this lady came up to me and a youth I was standing with. And she says to the young boy next to me “I see God has called you, but the next few years are going to be full of attack because the devil wants to wipe you out!” then she walked away. Now 1 corinthians 14:3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for edification [to promote their spiritual growth] and [speaks words of] encouragement and [speaks words of] consolation [to compassionately comfort them]. So anyway after this lady left, I had to look at my youth and say listen we need to rebuke that word! That’s not prophetic word it was a curse! Now I’m not saying that she had bad intentions. But let’s say God really did gave her that word. essentially that word was “Gods called him but the devil wants to stop him” thats a word of knowledge given to her she didn’t know the information, but now that its been given its important that that she doesn’t act out of emotion and just go blurting it everywhere, she needs to ask God what should I do with this information. Almost aways if you receive a word of knowlege that contain negative information they should prayed over in intersession not spoken out as prophecy. But because she didn’t stop to ask the Holy Spirit what to do with the information she spoke a curse that needed rebuked instead of praying a prayer that would shifted that young mans future. We need to examine ourselves before we do things. Because not everything is prophetic. I know especially in pentecostal circles we do things because if they did it, I’ll do it. And sadly thats one of the biggest things I’ve seen, is that people are trying to duplicate experiences by repeating actions… So let me give you some good advice… If God command and taught it in his word to do it, you don’t need directive from the holy spirit to do it because the direction was already given in the word. Here are some examples: Clap your Hands & Shout: Jump with Joy: Dance before the lord: Pray and sing in tongues: The quickest way to see if it was the Holy Spirit moving or emotionalism is does the Bible back the thing you saw. WE MUST PUT ONE FOOT PLANTED IN THE WORD. AND ONE FOOT PLANTED IN THE MOVE OF SPIRT. THE REALITY IS IF ALL YOU HAVE IS A MOVE OF THE SPIRIT YOU HAVE VAIN EMOTIONALISM AND IF ALL YOU HAVE IS THE WORD AND YOU DON’T LET THE SPIRIT MOVE YOU HAVE DEAD RELIGION! YOU NEED TO BE BALANCED IN BOTH THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/convictionandcoffee/message

Coffee & Conviction | The Chosen: Exposing a False Jesus & Rise of False Doctrine
So….. We need to talk about very serious topic. A tv show that has become very popular among church-goers and the unchurched alike… no doubt this show is loved by many! But the question remains is the show as fishy as its opening theme? Let’s talk about the chosen! No listen I have to be honest.. I loved this show just as much as the next guy in the begining… Until I off in my spirit… I was watching the show when God told me “TURN IT OFF…” I started to argue. “But it’s a christian show! About Jesus… God its ok..” And I kept watching. Later that night I started praying and I felt God say “that show is created out of demonic influence. To draw people away” While I was praying my wife Vivian called me into the other room and showed me a TikTok that was talking about how the show had hired multiple atheist, along with horror movie directors to play in cast. Now you might think oh thats not that bad… wait it gets worse… So lets talk about this first.. Dallas Jenkins - THE MORMON INFLUENCE. Dallas Jenkins the Director of the Chosen Actually said that Christian and Mormons Love the same Jesus! After making this horrible statement he tried to clear things up by lying and saying he never said they love the same Jesus… but as you can see in this next clip he makes matters even worse by saying there are Mormons LDS that are christians…. Bro you can’t be a Christian without excepting the blood atonement of Christ! Not to mention all the other doctrinal differences.. But it shouldn’t surprise us that the director embraces the mormons as “brothers and sisters..” Because the show is actually produced by mormons “angel studios” Jonathan Roumie's Catholic Influence The actor that plays Jesus in the chosen is a practicing Catholic. He’s been seen in many videos telling people to pray the rosary He is also plays lonnie frisbee in the film Jesus Revolution and the stuff this guy does is absolutely wild… going as far as practicing necromancy. For those of you unfamiliar with what I’m talking about, that fancy word means communication with the dead. He laid on Lonnies grave and prayed to him. Asking for a sign…. Now I would like to remind you of what the Bible says about this…. “there shall not be found among you.. one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord,…” -Deuteronomy 18:10-12 I hate to break it to you those false doctrine will bleed into the show! And lets face it the American christian barely shows up to church let alone reads there bible…in fact the show has stirred a large movement of people that love a show more than the word... small groups and youth ministries across America have started watching this show instead of studying the bible together. I have heard pastors quote the chosen as if thought it were bible! Which in of itself is very concerning. I’ve had youth come up to me and say “you know how Jesus said fill in the blank…” I looked at them confused…. I said “thats not in the bible..” “What?” They reply “it was in the chosen!!” So young christians across the world are building a theology off the doctrine of the chosen… not off the word… So the question is If people watch this show what type of Jesus are they receiving? well this show adds so much and takes away so much that the very character of Jesus isn’t even a biblical Jesus. Their version of Jesus is not the biblical Jesus. With everything said here we can clearly see the chosen can’t lead you to Christ. It can only lead you to a distorted version of Christ so far removed from the biblical Jesus that you wouldn’t even recognize the REAL Jesus if you saw him. That is why I encourage all of you to choose the Bible not the chosen! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/convictionandcoffee/message
