"The Gospel According to JOSEPH" // Week 4 \\ Tim Richards - [VIDEO]
Pastor Tim Richards continues his series, "The Gospel According to Joseph," looking at Genesis 41 Sermon Questions:
1. Read Genesis 37:2 and 41:46. How many years have elapsed in Joseph’s life? What has transpired in his life during those years? Make a list.
2. In Genesis 41:51-52 we learn the names of Joseph’s two sons. What is the significance of those names as you think about Joseph’s life? Are there any lessons to be drawn from those names when it comes to facing adversity (check out Philippians 3:13-14).
3. Going from prison to palace was a pretty major pivot in Joseph’s life. Most of us will never experience anything quite so dramatic, but have there been any pivot experiences in your life where God took what seemed like a hopeless situation and suddenly brought blessing?
4. What connections can you find in this passage between the story of Joseph and the life of Jesus?
