About Dykes, Bykes, and Other Rides: a queer culture archive
We're Preslee and Alyssa, two queer friends based in New York City, and we're chronicling the lives, loves, and histories of everyday queer folks. In mainstream media, portrayals of queerness tend to fall into one of two categories: depressing news stories or glamorous gay celebrity lives. We're here to fill in that space in the middle of the spectrum where most of us exist: the everyday queer person. Listen along as we archive the lives of queer folks and explore how queerness shapes all of us.
