Senior Epidemiologist Haylea Hannah, PhD, MPH
This episode features Dr. Haylea Hannah a Senior Epidemiologist with the California Mental Health Services Authority. Dr. Hannah earned her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Washington where she evaluated jail-based treatment for opioid use disorder. She previously worked at a local health jurisdiction for 9 years supporting surveillance initiatives, leading pilot programs, and providing data to guide local policies. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Haylea has strong opinions about college basketball (go Tar Heels!) and BBQ sauce.
