<p> </p> <p>In this episode we get a little personal with Dr Rakesh Chopra to understand his clinical journey and how he became a teacher of ENT in Primary Care. We then discuss the provision of ear wax removal services and what Dr Chopra thinks about who should be providing this service. We finish off with some points on Tinnitus and some advice that Dr Chopra has for our members.</p> <p> Dr Chopra is a nationally recognized teacher of ENT in Primary Care, a GP in St Helens, and has been a GPwER in ENT for the St. Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust for the last 18 years. Dr Chopra has been the Chairperson for the RCGP, London, ENT ODE conference, for the last 8 years. Besides medicine he has a wide range of interests, including playing music. He has published three novels. </p> <p> </p>

<p>Christine qualified as an Audiologist from the School of Audiology in Glasgow in 1975. &nbsp;Following several posts and further study, she obtained a Senior lectureship in 2006 and her PhD in 2016.</p> <p>She currently works as an independent trainer and counsellor, her particular interests are tinnitus, balance and person-centred practice.</p> <p>Christine is also the Author of a book titled 'Experiences of acquiring hearing loss: Lessons for rehabilitation' which is available for purchase on Amazon.</p> <p>With a Career spanning over 47 years, Christina brings a lot of experience to the conversation highlighting important aspects of Audiology that we do not always consider.</p>
