More To The Story Sermon Series // Entrusted // Pastor Jamie Duncan
God has entrusted every believer with something priceless: the gospel. In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus describes a master who distributes enormous wealth to his servants and expects a return when he comes back. The gold in this story represents far more than money or natural ability. It points to the kingdom of God and the good news of salvation placed in our hands. Two servants leveraged what they were given and were rewarded with greater responsibility and shared joy. One servant buried his out of fear and lost everything. How we steward the gospel reveals what we truly believe about God. The master is returning, and the question is what we will have to show when He does.

More To The Story Sermon Series // Love and the Christian Life // Dr. Rashan Frost
Loving God and loving others are not two separate commands. They are inseparable. The parable of the Good Samaritan confronts the very human tendency to draw boundaries around who deserves our care and compassion. Jesus used a despised outsider as the hero of His story to make a point that would have been deeply uncomfortable for His audience. True neighbor love is not abstract or theoretical. It is tangible, inconvenient, and sometimes messy. How we treat the people around us reflects how we truly regard God, because every person bears His image. The call is simple and demanding all at once: go and do likewise.

More To The Story Sermon Series // Get Ready! // Pastor Jamie Duncan
Jesus told the story of ten bridesmaids waiting for a groom. Five were prepared with extra oil, and five were not. When the groom arrived at midnight, only the five who were ready entered the wedding feast. The door was shut on the others. This parable from Matthew 25 is a direct challenge to every person alive today. Spiritual readiness for the return of Christ is not something that can be borrowed or inherited. It is deeply personal. The question worth sitting with is simple: if Jesus returned today, would you feel joy or fear?
