[…] Yes. And then when she returned back to St. Louis, she started doing this thing. She missed home and she had this idea to do an African dinner party night thing for friends. And it started in 2018 and she called it Foo Foo and Chat. and it started with six women that she invited over, and it was a monthly thing, and the group that she would invite grew, and within six years, the list was up to 167 people. 20 to 25 people would just randomly get picked for the list, and she'd send out an invite. She was doing this all for free, just as a social way to spread her culture and eat good food, and she said, hey, come in, bring some free booze, let's party. […]
