#009 Rena Rathje - Familien auf Sylt
Für Rena Rathje eine Berufsbezeichnung zu finden, ist gar nicht so einfach. Fest steht, dass die Fachkinderkrankenschwester für Anästhesie und Intensivmedizin ganz viel Erfahrung und Expertise in allen Themen rund um Babys und Kinder zu bieten hat. Als langjährige Beraterin für Eltern und Familien auf Sylt teilt sie ihr Wissen gerne - auch in unserem neuen gemeinsamen Projekt dem "Sylter Baby Podcast". Außerdem gibt Rena Schwimmkurse für Kinder bei der Sylter Schwimmakademie. Diese finden zwar in Schwimmbädern statt, sie selbst geht allerdings das ganze Jahr über im Meer schwimmen. Ja, auch im Winter! Wir sprechen darüber, wie sie deswegen manchmal zur unfreiwilligen Touristenattraktion wird und über das Kraft tanken in der Sylter Natur. Stella Kinne ist "Naturschutzbotschafterin der Naturschutzverbände der Insel Sylt". Das klingt im ersten Moment nach Konferenzräumen und Diplomatie, ist im Alltag aber tatsächlich ziemlich handfest. Wir sprechen über einige der vielen Naturschutzprojekte auf der Insel Sylt, darüber warum Cranberries zwar sehr lecker, in freier Wildbahn aber eher problematisch sind und stellen fest, dass Naturschutzmaßnahmen manchmal auf den ersten Blick gar nicht als solche zu erkennen sind. Unverpackt-Läden kennt man mittlerweile aus vielen (vor allem großen) Städten. Endlich ist dieser Trend nun auch auf Sylt angekommen. Frauke Bengsch ist seit Kurzem mit ihrem Unverpackt-Marktstand auf der Insel unterwegs. Wir sprechen über Fraukes bunten Lebenslauf, die Herausforderungen des Sich-Selbstständig-Machens und schwärmen ein bisschen von ihrem "Naschi"-Angebot. Anderswo spricht man von Süßigkeiten, Naschwerk, Leckereien, Zuckerwerk, Süßwaren oder oder oder. Ihr wisst schon, Bonbons und so. ;-) Wer auf Sylt unverpackt einkaufen möchte, findet Fraukes Marktstand mittwochs und samstags auf dem Wochenmarkt, sowie dienstags auf dem Parkplatz vor REWE in Westerland.
