In this and following episodes (one of a series), I explore the nature and role of imagination, making the case that it’s a significant and underutilized resource. I unpack why the imagination is integral and influential on the process of personal formation (discipleship) and vocation (purpose) within a Christian worldview. I contend that everyone is invited to ‘co-author’ their life story through the intentional integration of the imagination within the Christian meta-narrative. I also highlight the strategic role the arts play as an enabler of this process, particularly their influence on the generation of fresh perspectives and new possibilities, for growth and the investment of our lives.

Courage & Creativity: The Missio Dei & Missional Practice
In this episode we explore the Mission Dei (the Mission of God), and specific missional practices inspired and informed by it, via the historical account of the apostle Paul's missionary visit to Athens, Greece. While in Athens Paul engages with the most erudite citizens of the city in that time, the Areopagus, and expertly shares the truth of God's love on display in His Son, Jesus Christ, in a clear, courageous, creative, and culturally informed manner.
