<p>In our 6th episode, we welcomed Vicky Lau, an award-winning chef and culinary entrepreneur from Hong Kong, who founded TATE Dining Room, Date by Tate, and the tofu-themed restaurant Mora. Vicky’s accolades include being named Asia’s Best Female Chef by The World’s 50 Best in 2015 and becoming the first female chef-proprietor in Asia to earn two Michelin stars in 2021. Her restaurant TATE also received top honors like a diamond rating in the 2024 Black Pearl China Guide, while her restaurant, Mora, earned a Michelin Green Star in 2023 and its first Michelin star in 2024. During her sit down with FutureGen Girls Foundation (FGG)Director Secy Cheung, Vicky shared her experiences adapting to industry changes, the importance of teamwork, and her belief in encouraging women to pursue their passions beyond societal expectations.
