Drunk Hockey Players A Missed Opportunity for Comedy or Influence
I would like to share with you my thoughts on the societal glorification of alcohol in the United States. In this podcast, I reflect on my personal experience with alcohol and how I used to rationalize my own drinking habits. I also discuss how we tend to idolize individuals for their partying habits, which can cause damage in the long run.
The most valuable lesson from this episode is the importance of living deliberately and with excellence. By doing so, we can positively impact others and set a positive example for those around us. I emphasize the missed opportunity for positive influence that the drunk players had during their moment in the spotlight. Looking back, I now see it as a missed opportunity for setting a positive example.
