EFL Today is the "Men in Blazers" of the English Football League. The Premier League is already well-covered with many terrific podcasts across the world; now Championship, League 1 and League 2 get their rightful attention. Hosts Joe Jacobson and Aaron Paul are UK-based; one is a recently-retired EFL player, the other is a popular English soccer pundit. From Wrexham to Leeds, all 72 clubs in the EFL are explored with match recaps on Mondays and previews on Fridays. If it's happening in tiers 2-4 of the pyramid, we're talking about it here.
An addendum to Episode 18 (Joe's news of heading to Reading, Aaron getting ready for his beloved Wimbledon side playing at Wembley, etc.) Straight from the horse's mouth, new ReadingFC owner Rob Couhig insists his team can be the new Wrexham both on and off the pitch.
