Ultracycling und Diabetes? Kein Problem für Martin Haubold – EINGEPACKT #30
<p>Was bedeutet es eigentlich Diabetes zu haben und dennoch erfolgreicher Ultracyclist zu sein? Wie organisiert man seine Rennen und die Tage im Sattel mit dieser Autoimmun-Erkrankung? Für viele von uns ist schon die Teilnahme an solchen Rennen eine enorme Herausforderung und <strong>Martin Haubold</strong> meistert sie mit dieser zusätzlichen "Einschränkung" mit Bravour!</p> <p>Er erzählt Euch in dieser eingepackt Folge 30, wie er neben den Strapazen der jeweiligen Strecken, dem Wetter und allen anderen Widrigkeiten auch immer seinen Blutzuckerspiegel im Blick behalten muss. Neben erfolgreichen Teilnahmen beim <strong>TransAtlanticWay</strong>, <strong>Transiberica</strong> und dem <strong>Race Through Poland</strong> war sein letztes Rennen das diesjährige <strong>Transcontinental Race</strong>, welches er inoffiziell als 15. beendete und sicher so schnell nicht noch einmal fahren wird.</p> <p>Martin war bereits vor dem Podcast ein Vorbild für uns und für viele, die ihn kennen. Die nicht "normale" Weltmeisterschaft! – EINGEPACKT #29
<p>Wir schauen kurz zurück auf die letzte eingepackt Folge und besprechen auch Eurer Feedback zum Interview mit <strong>Ricky</strong> von <strong>Pas Normal Studios</strong>. Dann geht es natürlich um das Thema der letzten Woche – die <strong>UCI Gravel Weltmeisterschaft</strong> im norditalienischen Venetien. Dazu hat Alex <strong>Nico Heßlich</strong> am Mikro, um ihn zu seiner Teilnahme und seiner Meinung zur ersten Weltmeisterschaft im "Gravelsport" zu befragen. Und natürlich planen wir schon wieder die kommenden Folgen und Alex träumt auch schon von der neuen Saison.
