Moin! Wir sind Janna Rückert und Valentin Ludwig und machen Polarforschung in Bremen und Bremerhaven. Wir reden gerne, sowohl über unsere Forschung als auch miteinander und haben uns daher entschlossen, einen Podcast rauszubringen. In 20-30 Minuten erklären wir jede Folge einen Aspekt unserer Arbeit. Wichtig ist uns, dass das ganze a) unterhaltsam und b) verständlich ist, weil wir beide fest davon überzeugt sind, dass Humor eines der besten Werkzeuge im Geräteschuppen der Wissenschaftskommunikation ist. Komprimiertes Eis: Eine Zusammenfassung

Die Zeit fliegt, das Eis schmilzt und die erste Staffel Eismeer ist komplett! Eine Stunde, 59 Minuten und 49 Sekunden Polarforschung mit einer Prise Albernheit. Wahnsinn. Uns hat's echt Spaß gemacht, euch hoffentlich auch. Danke für's Zuhören, danke für's Feedback und im Voraus danke für's Anhören der zweiten Staffel, denn sie kommt! Und sie wird richtig gut losgehen. Reise ins Eis: Geschichten aus der Polargeschichte

Abenteueralarm! In dieser Folge geht es um Reisen ins Eis: Wir stellen unsere Lieblingsexpeditionen aus der Polargeschichte vor. Valentin nimmt euch mit in den Süden auf die "Endurance": Sir Ernest Shackletons Schiff, ein 1914 im Eis gesunkenes und im März 2022 wieder entdecktes Wrack. Und mit Janna geht es in den hohen Norden, auf die "Fram" mit Fritjof Nansen ins Jahr 1893.
