What is God’s will, for your life and for the world? Is God’s will even something we should seek to know? If so, how can we be assured we’ve gotten it right? In this video, Prof. Wright takes a general view of “the will of God” for creation as a basis for uncovering what God desires specifically for each of our individual lives. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.lightsource.com/donate/1749/29

What Communion Accomplishes
Breaking bread. The Lord’s Supper. Holy Eucharist. The body and blood. The Mass. Communion. Every Christian tradition has some kind of relationship to this special act that Jesus commanded us to observe. Why did Jesus institute the practice, and what exactly happens when we eat and drink the elements referred to as Jesus’s body and blood? Prof. Wright explores this most central of traditions as a means of sharing in Jesus’s death and expressing our unity with God’s purposes. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.lightsource.com/donate/1749/29

God's Judgment Isn't What You Think It Is
Fire, in the Bible, is an element of paradoxes. Fire burns up, but also purifies. It judges, but also refines. The Bible uses the connection between God and fire not as a simple sign of anger, but as an appropriate warning that because God loves creation and people, God wants the very best for both. Prof. Wright contends that this requires a purging of everything less than the very best. In the end, all will encounter God’s fire. But this won’t be a simple case of God casting off everything and starting from scratch. That which desecrates God’s creation will be destroyed, but that which honors God’s creation, rather than being destroyed by the fire, will be purified, like precious metal, to shine out as more truly that which it was created to be.To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.lightsource.com/donate/1749/29
