Tomás Leighton: Debemos replicar normativa antisísmica en la planificación urbana por el clima
El <b>director ejecutivo de Rumbo Colectivo</b> alertó sobre la <b>urgencia de una planificación urbana adaptada a la crisis climática</b>, e hizo un enérgico llamado a <b>terminar con la construcción desregulada en zonas de riesgo</b>. Para ello, según Leighton, el país debe <b>replicar el exitoso modelo de exigencia de la normativa antisísmica</b> enfocado en resistir los embates de los nuevos e intensos fenómenos hidrometeorológicos.<br /><br /><b>Luis Ruz, de Democracia y Comunidad</b>, coincidió en que <b>el cambio climático es una realidad instalada</b>: "una de las discusiones que no hemos hecho con profundidad es <b>cómo somos capaces de adaptarnos a esta nueva realidad</b>, en lo que significa no solamente la planificación urbana o cómo se construye, sino también <b>cómo hacemos la adaptabilidad urbana</b>", señaló.<br /><br /><b>Álvaro Pezoa, de Ideas Republicanas</b>, planteó que <b>la respuesta a la crisis climática debe centrarse en la búsqueda de un "justo equilibrio"</b> que ordene el cuidado medioambiental al bienestar y la dignidad de las personas, sin asfixiar la actividad económica.
