Probably Manchester's best student-run science-themed radio show and podcast! Every episode is themed around a particular chemical element.
Presenters Fergus, Carys and Joe chat about what makes each element interesting and what it is used for, as well as playing science games and interviewing real-life scientists about their research.
Think science and fun repel like particles with the same electric charge? Think again!
Joe and Fergus chat about all things mercury and find that there's much more to it than just thermometers!
It's been used since ancient times - some thought it was the key to eternal life, despite its poisonous nature.

S1E6 - Episode #6 - Carbon
Carbon, element number 6, is the basis of all known lifeforms.
The carbon cycle is a process which shows how carbon is reused and recycled throughout the Earth's ecosystem. But humans are messing with the system - we're releasing extra carbon dioxide into the system through burning foosil fuels, and chopping down forests which absorb CO2.
Our presenters chat about why this is a problem and what needs to be done to fix it.
We also interview the amazing Alice, who has previously worked in zoos on conservation related public engagement.
