Running a Business Part Two | Ryan Koral

Ryan Koral is the owner of Tell Studios & Studio Sherpas. He hosts an annual multiday event called "Onward Summit" which helps filmmakers grow their business on a whole different level. Ryan discusses marketing and how he removed himself from day to day operations to scale his business. The book "Traction" from Gino Wickman is discussed in this episode. I am a huge fan of this book and the author, and it turns out not only does Ryan love the book and author as well, he had a chance to work with Gino filming one of his projects. Ryan talks about the EOS system that is derived from Gino's method. This brings us to talk about “Building a Brand Story” by Donald Miller.

Running a Business Part One | Ryan Koral

Ryan Koral is the owner of Tell Studios & Studio Sherpas. He hosts an annual multiday event called "Onward Summit" which helps filmmakers grow their business on a whole different level. Ryan discusses how we removed himself from day to day operations to scale his business. The E-Myth book inspired Ryan to delegate. I love when Ryan says, "If I can be helpful to my ideal audience, that's when sales and marketing works." Another great line, "You don't learn until you launch." He shares how we become vulnerable trying something new. Sometimes, you just have to do it and not worry about what others would think. I'll leave with his last quote, "The world need you to do that thing."
