Heroes, Healing, and Hunting. There is a refuge in the wild places, free of chaos and demands. Many who have served are looking for just that and find it in hunting. This podcast is created to connect servicemen to organizations and opportunities with incredible hunting experiences. Along the way we will share stories of how hunting and the outdoors have inspired the soul and find life’s purpose renewed. There is a great appreciation for all who have given willingly of themselves for the sake of others. For Those Who Serve is dedicated to our military men and women, active duty or veteran, who share our hunting passions.
This is part of the Elevate the Hunt network and hosted by Everett Headley.

Heroes' Harvests: Outdoor Experiences as Therapy
Heroes' Harvests (https://www.heroesharvests.org/) mission is to provide our nation’s service members, to include active duty military members, reserve, national guard, veterans, and Gold Star families, a dynamic therapeutic environment through exclusive hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences. They also directly support our community members, in conjunction with outfitters across different states, for transitioning service members who seek a career in the outdoor industry.
In addition to their outdoor events, we facilitate the Wilderness Guide Training Program; which recognizes the value of military service. It empowers veterans through basic and advanced learning opportunities, preparing each individual with the necessary skills to succeed in a new professional role. A natural intersection exists between the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors and the continuing need for trained professional guides in the outfitting industry.
