A weekly podcast in which Shane and Liz (otherwise known as Shiz) play a different boardgame every week whilst "elevated".
Slow shenanigans and moderately wild debate ensues.

I literally GASPED when Shane and I found this one on the shelf at our local thrift-- and gasped again when we found 2 anniversary cards addressed to Scott and Sharon on their 12th wedding anniversary, because guess what-- we are also celebrating our 12 wedding anniversary today!
Pretty sure this is a cursed game; RIP Scott and Sharon.
It's not advisable to play the game, or read the book this damnable thing is based upon. Ugh. 1 star.
I'm including a link to one of our favorite podcasts, If Books Could Kill, which is a fabulously entertaining and educational tool in analyzing the evolution of the "Self Help" book genre. There is an eye-opening episode based upon this particular book, so please listen at your convenience. That's the most professional statement I've made whilst being this elevated, y'all.
Enjoy!

Doomlings -- Part 2
Part 2 of the "end of the world", and if you've seen that doc on Netflix about AI and trying to be an optimistic person-- you know what? I'm still not too concerned about the personal impact.
I have more thoughts, of course, and if you want to enjoy a questionably "fun" end-of-the-world type game, then please enjoy the ensuing ramble.
(Oh, and we're pretty sure we mucked up the math, so who knows who really won?)

Doomlings -- Part 1
Who knew that the end of the world could be such fun? Creators Justus and Andrew Meyers (with the developmental help of Chris Svehla and Eric McCoy) have birthed a game that miiiiight involve a little too much math but just enough evolution. We both really loved it and think the "replayability" is, pardon the pun, pretty high.
As were we.
Blaze it up, and enjoy the next catastrophe!
