Gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) kids, private educational evaluations, and Colorado's ALP, IEP, and 504 process — explained in plain language for Denver parents. ElevateU Educational Psychology (https://elevateudenver.com/) is a podcast for families of bright-but-struggling children who were told "there's nothing to qualify for." Each episode breaks down how bright kids get missed at school, what a private psychoeducational evaluation actually uncovers, and how to turn results into a plan the team around your child can use. If your child works twice as hard for half the results, start here — and learn how your specific child learns, and what to do next.

Denver ADHD and Psychoeducational Evaluation Cost Guide
What does ADHD testing actually cost in Denver — and which evaluation does your child really need? This episode breaks down the two most common paths for Denver families so you can match the testing to the question you're actually trying to answer, without overpaying.
A focused ADHD evaluation — the right fit when attention and focus are the only concern — typically runs about $1,900–$2,400. If your child may have more complex learning differences, or is gifted but still struggling, a full psychoeducational evaluation (roughly $2,400–$3,400) looks at the whole picture. Think of it like a car diagnostic: the focused check reads one warning light; the full evaluation is bumper-to-bumper. When there's more going on, testing comprehensively up front can save you from paying twice.
Either way, a quality evaluation should include testing for attention and executive function, a look at academic performance, a clear written report, and a feedback session that maps out your next steps for school. Matching the right evaluation to your child's real question is how families get the support they need.Get current pricing: https://elevateudenver.com/adhd-testing/Read our Post: https://share.google/ySa7qclCUYwdUNeEd#ADHDTesting #DenverParents #CherryCreekCO
