Ageless Thriving: Trish Kimble on Intentional Living for Women 40+

Host Guelda Redman interviews Trish Kimble, founder and CEO of Blank Slate Enterprises and Ageless Thriving, a speaker, author, facilitator, and “seniorpreneur” who helps women 40+ build clarity and confidence to make intentional choices about how they live forward. Trish shares her shift from four decades in administrative and executive support to launching Blank Slate Enterprises in February 2020, pivoting during COVID to online administrative work, and evolving into speaking and facilitation rooted in her belief that aging shouldn’t limit what’s possible. She explains Ageless Thriving’s four pillars—clarity, confidence, choices, and connections—delivered through small in-person workshops with workbooks, plus a free Facebook group, Ageless Thriving Connections, with monthly Lower Mainland meetups. She discusses adaptability, continuous learning, and starting small without needing a complete plan. 00:00 Meet Trish Kimble 01:08 Trish Background Story 03:15 Launching Blank Slate 05:24 What Ageless Thriving Means 07:52 Workshops and Four Pillars 12:44 Building Community Connections 15:34 Events Locations and Access 18:24 Upcoming Workshop Schedule 22:23 Workshops Going Hybrid 22:53 In Person Comfort 23:37 Why Women 40 Plus 25:51 Pivotal Midlife Choices 27:40 Never Too Old 27:56 What Sets Her Apart 30:50 Adaptability In Business 34:21 Advice To Start Small 38:01 Closing Thanks And Subscribe Connect with Trish Kimble Website: TrishKimble.com (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__trishkimble.com_&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=G8cdPCIkW8PUK95WRiNsR_yMpaCXRVlWifFEzFBtw2vk0hg37AwSpLHxKlrw9SL6&m=fYazHDDlmb7HLsd0kwQp586JN0TSUYTAvWSai_r-LrbvclO9c4O_1Lq3c0z5mFyt&s=JRPSIa2Y-f-Lr-zv0uUxx497b_PpjZmND-6kf1Tqy-Y&e=) Connect with Trish and find all her current links: https://linktr.ee/TrishKimble (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__linktr.ee_TrishKimble&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=G8cdPCIkW8PUK95WRiNsR_yMpaCXRVlWifFEzFBtw2vk0hg37AwSpLHxKlrw9SL6&m=fYazHDDlmb7HLsd0kwQp586JN0TSUYTAvWSai_r-LrbvclO9c4O_1Lq3c0z5mFyt&s=a7szeqf7h920xhLPIuQ-jH3MbaV9ZpT1xTC1jMB_S5g&e=) LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/blankslate-trishkimble/ (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.linkedin.com_in_blankslate-2Dtrishkimble_&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=G8cdPCIkW8PUK95WRiNsR_yMpaCXRVlWifFEzFBtw2vk0hg37AwSpLHxKlrw9SL6&m=fYazHDDlmb7HLsd0kwQp586JN0TSUYTAvWSai_r-LrbvclO9c4O_1Lq3c0z5mFyt&s=n5_HLucct9wLT4Mu8kvW5ZndAct2JoxChjtq1vKBthI&e=) Ageless Thriving Connections Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ageless.thriving.connections (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.facebook.com_groups_ageless.thriving.connections&d=DwMFaQ&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=G8cdPCIkW8PUK95WRiNsR_yMpaCXRVlWifFEzFBtw2vk0hg37AwSpLHxKlrw9SL6&m=fYazHDDlmb7HLsd0kwQp586JN0TSUYTAvWSai_r-LrbvclO9c4O_1Lq3c0z5mFyt&s=ZnJYB7nNAVLpLbp65_L5GlorhiBw3DHDDQ2kW-odWLg&e=) Free to join, with monthly opportunities to connect in person. The Real Reason Your Business Feels Scattered (And How to Fix It)

Host Guelda Redmond welcomes listeners to season two of the Elevating Women in Business Podcast and addresses a common struggle among women entrepreneurs: feeling messy, overwhelmed, and scattered despite doing “all the things.” She explains this usually signals missing clarity and support, not failure, and notes that busy doesn’t equal clear when entrepreneurs react instead of lead, chase shiny objects, overconsume online advice, and lack defined priorities and systems. Redmond describes what a clear business looks like—focused messaging, intentional calendars, boundaries, confidence, and consistent growth—and offers steps to simplify: reconnect with vision, clarify a profitable core offer, drop draining tasks, narrow priorities to one audience/message/next step, and seek mentors and community. She emphasizes that isolation magnifies overwhelm and invites listeners to join the membership-based BC Women’s Business Network for in-person meetings, virtual support, and resources. 00:00 Welcome to Season Two 00:29 Why Business Feels Scattered 01:36 Busy Is Not Clear 03:26 What Clarity Looks Like 04:54 Five Steps to Simplify 07:37 Power of Women’s Community 09:09 How Community Creates Success 11:20 What Keeps Women Stuck 14:40 Your Next Right Step 16:19 Closing and Join the Network

Monica Hawkins on Reinvention, Client-Centered Wellness, and the Power of Networking

Host Guelda Redman interviews Monica Hawkins on Elevating Women in Business about her entrepreneurship journey, leadership in networking groups, and current work supporting women—especially around age 45 whose children have left home—who have spent years prioritizing others and want to reclaim their health and lives. Monica shares that after the company she built with closed a year ago, she focused on healing and growth and now helps clients through individualized, conversation-based support, emphasizing being heard, consistent follow-up, and long-term change rather than quick fixes. She discusses habits like committing to 7,500 daily steps for 100 days, meal prepping, and setting boundaries with a day job, along with using walks for content ideas and inspiration. Monica highlights networking as relationship-building, learning, collaboration, and joint ventures, and advises women in business not to do it alone and to show up because they may inspire someone. 00:00 Meet the Host and Guest 00:43 Who Is Monica 01:23 Business Reset and Mission 03:16 Ideal Client and Niche 04:05 What Makes Her Different 07:13 Habits for Health Success 10:18 Authenticity and Progress 13:07 Work Life Balance Routines 17:00 Advice for Wellness Entrepreneurs 18:47 Why Networking Matters 22:17 Networking Impact and Growth 24:19 Final Advice and Wrap Up
