09 Lenie van der Hoorn | ’Bij natuurijswedstrijden werd nooit over vrouwen gesproken’
Lenie van der Hoorn won in 1985 de Elfstedentocht bij de vrouwen. Althans, ze was de eerste vrouw. Een aparte wedstrijd was er officieel niet. Het was voor het eerst dat vrouwen aan de wedstrijd mee mochten doen. Sporten was niks voor een meid, vonden haar ouders. Maar ze wilde zo graag, ze kón gewoon niet anders.
