[…] It is really interesting, though. I've gotten into some debates with a lot of our trauma attendings who take care of these patients with severe TBIs. We often talk about, is it that it's not inferior or is it that the care has gotten better? And so we see less incidence of post-traumatic seizure. But either way, KEPRA is very common. And at the doses that we give it, there's less likelihood of patients developing the agitation of that can be caused with higher doses of Keppra. So I am a fan of giving it. I think that there's very little risk and I think it is standard of care. And what doses are we giving? […]
